Mountain States Health Alliance Fit4Life Program


The Mountain States Health Alliance Fit4Life Program is a part of our team member benefits package.  It is designed to help you reach your peak level of health and well-being all while having fun! The program consists of multiple activities, screenings, games, and learning resources.  The program is voluntary and can help you lead a healthier life and earn prizes and additional compensation to offset your medical premiums.

Fit4Life Includes:
  • Health Risk Assessment
  • Scorecard Points Tracking
  • KEAs Interactive Health Games
  • Activities held throughout MSHA including 5k walk/runs, kickball tournaments, softball tournaments, healthy cooking contests, Zumba classes and more.
  • Classes on stress reduction, nutrition, parenting, financial fitness and more

What is a Health Risk Assessment ("HRA")?

  • Requires completion of an online health questionnaire
  • Assesses your health status, estimates your level of health risk, and provides you with valuable feedback to motivate behavior changes and reduce health risks
  • The questionnaire requires you to enter certain values (such as blood pressure, height, weight, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and glucose) which may be obtained through an annual physical with your Primary Care Physician. 
What is KEAs?
  • Promotes healthy behavior and teamwork with fun interactive media and gaming
  • Delivers relevant, individualized content by rewarding people for achieving simple exercise and nutritional goals 
  • Improves team members' health through competitiveness and engagement
What is Points Tracking Scorecard?
  • Record your biometric values from your annual physical and/or recent lab screenings
  • Participate in Fit4Life Seminars and Fitness Events
  • Be physically active
  • Compete annual screenings such as dental cleanings and vision exams
  • Make health status improvements
  • Number of points earned determine amount of dollars earned back in your paycheck
